A New Chapter for Cameroonian Students
Education in Cameroon has always been a story of ambition. Millions of students wake up every day determined to learn — yet for many, the biggest obstacle isn't talent or dedication. It's access.
Textbooks are expensive. School libraries are thin. And in rural communities, finding the right study guide can mean a day's journey to the nearest town.
Sukulu was built to change that.
What Is Sukulu?
Sukulu is Cameroon's first OS for academic excellence — a digital platform that connects students, teachers, publishers, and schools in one place. Whether you need a Form 5 Chemistry textbook, a set of past GCE papers, or someone to lend you a French Grammar guide, Sukulu brings it all together.
The Problem We Solve
Across Cameroon's 10 regions, academic resources are unevenly distributed. Students in Buea, Bamenda, Yaoundé, and Douala have far better access to materials than those in the North West highlands or the Adamawa region. The result? A persistent academic gap that no amount of ambition can bridge alone.
- 97,000+ academic materials listed on the platform
- 10 regions served across Cameroon
- 3 curricula supported: Anglophone, Francophone, and Bilingual
How It Works
Sukulu works simply: students list books they're done with, and others can buy, borrow, or rent them at a fraction of the bookshop price. Every transaction builds a richer, more connected academic community.
For schools and publishers, Sukulu provides a direct channel to reach learners who need their materials most — without the overhead of traditional distribution.
The Road Ahead
We're just getting started. In 2026, Sukulu will launch its certification program, a resource-sharing feature for study groups, and a teacher matching service. Our mission is clear: every student in Cameroon should have access to the materials they need to succeed.
Join us. Whether you're a student, teacher, publisher, or school — there's a place for you in the Sukulu community.
